Sometimes inspiration comes from the fibres themselves. The netting cried out to be insect wings. The green silks chose to be foliage, the purples and blues were the perfect background. I was stumped with the eyes... until I remembered I had glass eyes buried somewhere in my stash. Ta-dah! A green-eyed dragon is born.
