Horse Hair & Feather Raku is the process of making local carbon markings on a pot, hot from the kiln, by applying horse hair, feathers or other organic materials directly to the surface. This style of decoration creates unique designs which cannot be replicated, nor achieved in any other way.

Raku work is decorative only and not intended to hold liquids, due to the porous nature of the clay used in the process. One of a kind pieces of art to add to the beauty and style of your home.
